1. How long have you been a P.E. teacher?

This will be my 6th year teaching P.E.

2. What is one thing you are looking forward to this school year?

Incorporating technology as a way to help students be more physically active and engaged

3.  If you had to listen to the same song every morning walking into Booth Hill, what song would you choose?

4. What are your favorite sports teams?

New York Knicks, New York Mets and New York Jets

5.  What are your favorite hobbies outside of school?

Playing Basketball/Golf/Softball/Flag Football, going for a run, spending time with family and friends, and shopping!

6.  What is one thing that Booth Hill students might be surprised to learn about you?

I am also certified to teach Health Education!

7. What is one thing on your bucket list?

Travel/go on a vacation to Las Vegas!

8. Who is your favorite superhero and why?

Batman - his superhero abilities are very realistic!

Meet Mrs. LeClerc

1. How long have you been a P.E. teacher?

This will be my 5th year teaching PE in Trumbull, but it will be 11 years. 

2. What is one thing you are looking forward to this school year?

Having all my students together in person again! 

3.  If you had to listen to the same song every morning walking into Booth Hill, what song would you choose?

4. What are your favorite sports teams?

Any team my children are participating on.

5.  What are your favorite hobbies outside of school?

 Spending time with my  family and  friends. Spending time outdoors being active and being at the beach any time of the year.

6.  What is one thing that Booth Hill students might be surprised to learn about you?

I taught PE and coached Field Hockey in New Cannan for 6 years before having my children. Then I stayed home to be a mom before coming back to teach. I started at BHS working as a Reading Paraprofessional before getting my PE job here in Trumbull. Currently I also teach PE at Trumbull High, REACH, Daniels Farm and Middlebrook. 

7. What is one thing on your bucket list?

Ooohhhh. I have lots of things on my bucket list! Right now I miss seeing live music (concerts).  I would say seeing John Mayer or Harry Connick Jr. in concert are top on my music list!

8. Who is your favorite superhero and why?

I didn’t really watch superhero movies. So I would have to say my parents. They were the people I looked up to as my heroes. I still use their example as my guide.  I was lucky enough to have them as parents. To me they were SUPERHEROES!
